During the initial visit, we will conduct a thorough assessment of your health and medical history, including your primary concerns, pertinent blood work, and imaging. We will explore significant lifestyle factors, such as nutrition, digestion, stress, sleep, and environmental exposures that might contribute to your current symptoms. At the end of the visit, initial recommendations will be provided, and additional bloodwork or advanced testing may be ordered to further assess your health concerns.
At your follow-up appointment, which typically takes place 1-2 weeks after your initial visit, we’ll discuss the results of your bloodwork and advanced tests, and delve into your comprehensive treatment plan. This plan includes personalized guidance on nutrition and lifestyle, recommendations for beneficial nutrients and herbs, and options like acupuncture or IV therapy specific to your health goals.
During subsequent follow-up visits, we will evaluate your response to the initial naturopathic treatment, address any new health concerns, and modify your plan to ensure ongoing progress toward your health goals.

Please complete your intake form prior to the visit and bring all current medications and supplements that you are taking as well as any recent bloodwork, testing or imaging results. Bloodwork/imaging results can also be emailed to dririna@higherhealthcentre.com.
Yes! Most work benefits cover the full or partial cost of the visit. If you are unsure, please contact your insurance provider to confirm as we cannot contact them on your behalf.
Naturopathic doctors have access to medical labs to requisition blood work. However, this service is not covered by OHIP. Please note that naturopathic services and supplements are also not covered by OHIP.
Unfortunately, we do not offer direct billing at this time. However, invoices will be sent to you right after your appointment, which can then be submitted to your insurance provider.
